What is My State's Tax Deadline?

A state tax deadline not only varies from the federal deadline, but also from state to state. If your state requires you to file a tax return, most likely it is due at the same time as the federal return – April 15 – but be sure to check with your state.

Several states will automatically extend your filing time if you have filed a federal extension, so you will also want to check into that.

You can find a list of state links on the IRS.gov website.
