Created for the Investor
The National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) is an association of investment clubs that is a non-profit group with the single purpose of helping members become successful at long-term investing.
In an effort to meet this goal, the association has developed dozens of tools, educational opportunities, and online resources to benefit its members.
By joining the association of investment clubs, you will have access to these and many other resources that will assist investors in making careful and prudent investment choices over the long haul.
Local Investment Clubs
The NAIC can direct you as an individual investor to local clubs that also have access to the resources of the national organization.
In addition, they provide in person meetings, speakers, and workshops, depending on the local structure. These chapters have access to 1,500 volunteers with a vast array of experience who work with the local groups to teach the BetterInvesting approach.
Proven over long periods of time, this approach is taught through seminars, speeches and events. Many times these events are open to the public to offer a taste of what the club has for members.
However, exclusive meetings and online tools are only for those who affiliate with the association of investment clubs.
Work with a Model Club
If you’d like to see a club in action so you know what it should be like, you can join in a meeting of any one of the model clubs around the country.
Local chapters of BetterInvesting clubs sponsor model clubs that are open to the public. This allows prospective members to see how the clubs are structured, what typical meetings and events look like, and what the programs offer.
Member Benefits
There are myriad member benefits for the members of the associate of investment clubs.
The exclusive online stock analysis tool and mutual fund analysis tool are valuable to every member. There are online tools to help members learn how to use and interpret the stock analysis tools as well.
Members of the association of investment clubs also get full time access to data services from S&P stock and the Lipper mutual fund.
Members-only sections of the online websites include webcasts expounding on certain stocks and studying their trends, access to pre-selected candidates for purchases of stocks and mutual funds, and online discussion forums and question boards.
New Member Resources
New members also get special benefits, including a “Getting Started” curriculum that gives new members instructions on how to use each tool in the stock and mutual fund analysis.
For the first year of membership, new members also get one free stock purchase each month.
