According to a Forbes study, Miami, Tampa, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, and Orlando top the cities with the highest average household credit card debt. Other notable overspending contenders were Austin, Charlotte, Cleveland, and Indianapolis. Many of these cities also have high unemployment rates, which contribute to the elevated average household credit card debt.
