Does Free Business Banking Really Exist?

Can you really have free business banking for your small business, or large corporation? Is there any way that you can truly have free banking services? Business banking services have come along way in helping your business grow, and even offer some free services. Some of these services, however, have certain criteria to qualify for free business banking.

No Maintenance Fee

A lot of banks offer businesses accounts with no maintenance fees. The only catch is that you must keep a certain balance in your account or the maintenance fee will be included. This level is usually between $2,000 or $5,000, but can be as high as $10,000.

Free Checking

Banks will offer free checking accounts up to a certain point. Your business can have free checking until it reaches a certain level of activity. For example, once you reach more than twenty debits, or credits, they begin charging a fee for each credit or debit after that level.

Free Accounting Software

In an effort to provide accounting software like Quickbooks, banks will offer these for free when opening your business account. Unfortunately, this only lasts for six months and then there is a monthly fee accrued.

Free business banking does exist, but you have to be careful of meeting the certain regulations, and criteria, to keep it completely free.
